Most Christians today believe and teach that there is a Trinitarian Deity. That is, ‘One God’ sectioned in three eternal Persons or Gods, equal in authority, but with different roles—‘GOD the Father’, and ‘GOD the Son’, and ‘GOD the Holy Spirit’. This is in fact a rather confusing and mysterious metaphorical doctrine of three Gods in one, fabricated and promulgated by the Roman Catholic Church, at the beginning of the fourth century, and later adopted by the Evangelical Protestant Church.
Also, there is an increasing number of Christians today who believe and teach that we have a Unitarian Deity. That is, ‘One God’: ‘the Lord GOD JESUS’, which manifests himself in three different forms as ‘the FATHER’, and as ‘the SON’, and as ‘the HOLY SPIRIT’. This is also a rather confusing and mysterious metaphorical doctrine of one metamorphic God, introduced in England and in the States by a large circle of anti-Trinitarian Protestants, at the end of the 18th century.
Would you like to know what the Holy Scriptures say about the components of the HOLY GODHEAD (DEITY), after reading and praying and understanding the whole counsel of God’s Word in a SIMPLE and LITERAL WAY, that even a child can perfectly understand?
In fact, Jesus himself prayed to his Father and spoke about it on one occasion:
“In that hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, ‘I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal him.’” (Luke 10:21-22)
In another occasion He said:
“But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, ‘Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.’” (Mark 10:14-15)
WHO make up the GODHEAD according to the Bible?
The GODHEAD is made up of two persons, according to 1st Corinthians 8:5-6:
1) GOD the FATHER—the Eternal, Immortal and Invisible KING; the only Sovereign and True GOD—, of whom are all things and we in Him.
2) The LORD JESUS CHRIST—the only begotten and glorified SON of GOD, his FATHER; the Heir of all things and the visible Image of the invisible GOD, the FATHER—, by whom are all things and we by Him.
The Sevenfold HOLY SPIRIT sent to all the Earth (Revelation 4:5; 5:6) is not another person, but the living substance of the being of God the Father and of Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is the living nature, the holy presence and the miraculous power of God and of his Son Jesus. In fact, it is the mighty, life-giving GLORY of the Father, according to Romans 6:4 and 8:11.
(See also 1Timothy 1:17, 6:15-16; John 1:18, 17:1-5; Hebrews 1:1-4; Colossians 1:15; Isaiah 11:2; Revelation 1:4-5, 4:5, 5:6; 2Chronicles 16:9; Psalm 139:7-11; Jeremiah 23:23-24; Luke 4:18-19; John 20:21-22; Acts 1:8, 2:17-18; Matthew 10:19-20; 1Corinthians 2:9-12; Romans 8:9-11; Galatians 4:4-7)
According to the Scriptures, God the Father is the head of the Godhead (1Corinthians 11:3; Revelation 11:15, 14:6-7); Jesus Christ is the right arm of the Father (Deuteronomy 9:29; Psalm 44:3, 77:15, 89:13, 98:1; Isaiah 40:10-11, 52:10, 53:1; Jeremiah 27:5, 32:17,21; Luke 1:51; John 12:38); and the Holy Spirit is the breath of the Father that was poured out fully on his Son Jesus. (Genesis 2:7; Exodus 15:8; 2Samuel 22:16; Job 4:9, 12:10, 27:3; Psalm 18:15, 33:6; Acts 17:25; Matthew 3:13-17; Hebrews 1:8-9)
Here is a simple illustration to help us to better understand the GODHEAD: God the Father is like the deep Roots (hidden from view) of a great tree. The Lord Jesus is like the strong and beautiful Tree (in the sight of all). And the Holy Spirit is like the inner Sap or living substance that comes and emanates from the invisible Roots (God) to the visible Tree (Jesus).

WHAT is the relationship between GOD and JESUS, and each One’s function?
GOD begot his only SON Jesus in the beginning, before They both created the Heavens and the Earth. Jesus is the LIGHT—the DAY—, who was begotten by his Father to drive away the darkness—the Night—of the Earth, in the first day of creation. (Genesis 1:1-5; Psalm 118:14-26; Proverbs 8:22-31; John 1:1-5; 1John 3:8)
Jesus is the LIGHT—the Day—that came into the world to remove the darkness—the Night—of the devil in human lives, and bring them Light and Life instead. Jesus is the LIGHT & BRIGHTNESS of the Glory of God his Father, as well as the very IMAGE of the living substance of the invisible God. (Juan 1:1-14, 3:14-21, 8:12, 9:4-5, 11:9-10, 12:31-36,44-50; Romans 13:11-14; 2Corinthians 4:1-6; Ephesians 5:6-14; Colossians 1:12-15; 1Thessalonians 5:1-11; Hebrews 1:1-3, 1Peter 2:9; 1John 1:5-7, 2:8-10; Revelation 21:10-11,22-27).
Nowhere in the Scriptures will we find the Trinitarian title attributed to Jesus of “Eternal God the Son." On the contrary, precisely in the epistles of the apostles JESUS never appears as GOD, but always as the SON of GOD (the literal Son of his Father), who is still at the mercy of his God and Father, and sitting at His right hand to this day. (Psalm 110:1; Hebrews 12:2; Revelation 3:12)
Next we insert some biblical passages in the epistles that show that JESUS was and is literally the legitime SON of GOD his FATHER up until today, and forever will be:
• Acts 3:13-15; 4:24-30; 7:55-56; 8:37; 9:20-22
• Romans 1:1-10; 5:8-11; 8:3,16-17,29-34
• 1Corinthians 1:9; 11:3; 15:24-28
• 2Corinthians 1:18-22
• Galatians 1:15-16; 2:20; 4:4-7
• Ephesians 4:11-13
• Philippians 2:5-11
• Colossians 1:12-14,18-20
• 1Thessalonians 1:9-10
• Hebrews 1:1-9; 3:1-6; 4:14-16; 5:5-10; 6:4-6; 7:1-4,20-28; 10:26-31
• 2Peter 1:16-18
• 1John 1:1-7; 2:22-25; 3:7-8,21-24; 4:7-16; 5:1-5,9-13,20
• Revelation 1:1,4-6; Chapter 5
GOD the FATHER has always existed eternally, but JESUS his SON—which is the Wisdom of God according to Proverbs 8:12-21 and 1Corinthians 1:24—had a beginning of existence since He was BEGOTTEN or GENERATED (in Hebrew ‘YALAD’ / in Greek ‘GENNAO’) by his Father, some time in eternity past, before the world was made. Jesus clearly told his disciples that he CAME FORTH (got begotten) from the Father at a given time in the beginning (John 8:42, 16:26-28, 17:1-8). (Psalm 2:7-9; Proverbs 8:22-31; Micah 5:2; John 1:18; Hebrews 1:5)
God’s Word says that JESUS created all things which are in Heaven and on Earth, together with his FATHER (Psalm 102:25-27; Proverbs 8:22-31, 30:4; John 1:1-3,9-10; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:12-17; Hebrews 1:10-12). However, the Word also says that JESUS is the BEGINNING (‘ARCHE’) of the CREATION of GOD his FATHER, and the FIRSTBORN—first generated Son—of EVERY CREATION, and the FIRSTBORN—first generated Son—from the DEAD, so that HE may be the FIRST in EVERYTHING, and all FULLNESS may dwell in HIM. (Acts 2:32, 5:30, 13:32-37; Colossians 1:18-20; Revelation 1:5,17-18, 2:8, 3:14)
Jesus is the LIVING WORD of LIFE and of GOD, the Father’s SPOKESPERSON who speaks the Words of his Father that give Life, who was in the beginning with the Father—the GOD in position—, being Jesus also GOD in nature. Jesus is the Spokesperson of the Father who came in the name of his Father to speak the Words and do the works of his Father. (John 1:1-5, 3:31-36, 5:17-24, 10:25, 14:10-11; 1John 1-2, 5:11-13; Revelation 19:13)
Notice that in John 1:1-2 the original text in Greek says: ‘In the beginning was the LIVING WORD (Jesus the Son), and the LIVING WORD was with THE GOD in position, and the LIVING WORD was GOD in nature. The same (the Living Word) was in the beginning with THE GOD (the Father)’. The Greek noun used here to name the GOD in POSITION (the Father) is 'THEON', and appears with the previous definite article 'TON' (THE): ‘TON THEON' (THE GOD). Jesus the Living Word (‘HO LOGOS’) was also GOD, but the Greek noun used here to name GOD is 'THEOS', and it appears without previous article, meaning that He was GOD in NATURE, of the same divine nature of the Father.
The Nature of Jesus is truly Divine and powerful because at some time in the beginning He CAME FORTH directly from his God and Father, when He was begotten by Him (Proverbs 8:22-31; John 8:42, 16:26-28, 17:1-8). Jesus inherited the powerful Nature of his Father, for He told his disciples that his Father had given him power to give life and judgment as well (John 3:31-36, 5:17-30). (Psalm 2, 45:6-7, 82:1,6; John 1:1-2,18, 6:32-51, 9:35-38, 10:34-36, 20:26-29; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews 1:8-9.) Jesus was in fact appointed by his Father to be the HEIR of all things and the CREATOR of the Heavens and the Earth. (Proverbs 8:30, 30:4; John 1:1-3,9-10; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:12-17; Hebrews 1:2-3,10-12, 2:9-10)
The Scriptures say that 'GOD was manifested in the flesh' (1Timothy 3:16), and as a result many believe that it is God the Father who became human and "transformed" himself into Jesus. But the word 'GOD' used here in the original Greek is 'THEOS', without previous article in Greek, which means here 'GOD in NATURE', and not 'THE GOD in POSITION' ('TON THEON'). In reality it’s really talking here about JESUS CHRIST, the Living Word or Spokesperson of God, the Only Begotten Son of the Father, who was a DIVINE SPIRIT like his Father (John 4:24; 2Corinthians 3:17) that became HUMAN and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth, to show us the glory of his Father in Him, as He was fully filled with his Father’s Spirit and Word. (Proverbs 30:4; John 1:1-2,14,18, 3:16-17,34-35, 7:28-29, 8:42, 14:8-11, 16:27-28, 17:7-8; Matthew 3:17; Luke 9:35; Romans 8:3; 1Juan 1:1-3, 4:1-3; Hebrews 10:5-10; 1Corinthians 1:24; Colossians 1:19, 2:9)
Several Scriptures indicate that having ETERNAL LIFE means to believe and personally know or have intimate communion with the only true GOD, the FATHER, by receiving and personally knowing or having intimate communion with JESUS CHRIST, which God has sent to give us eternal life; because no one can reach the FATHER, unless he or she is first united with JESUS the SON (John 14:6). (John 3:16-17, 16:2-3, 17:1-3; 1Thessalonians 1:9-10; 1John 1:1-3, 2:20-25, 5:11-12,20)
Because of the great sacrifice Jesus underwent to redeem us from sin and spiritual death, God resurrected Him from the dead by his Spirit, and exalted Him and sat Him at his right hand, and gave Him authority and power to be LORD and GOD IN OFFICE over all principalities and powers in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth. (Psalm 2; Matthew 28:18; Acts 2:32-33, 5:30-31, 13: 23-37; Romans 8:11; Galatians 1:1; Philippians 2:5-11; Hebrews chapter 1, 13:20-21)
According to the Scriptures, Jesus is now in Heaven at the right hand of the Father to make intercession for us as his High Priest and Mediator. (Psalm 110:1; Romans 8:31-34; Hebrews 1:13, 3:14-18, 4:14-16, 9:11-28, 12:2)
When they persecuted Stephen for his preaching and love for the Lord, the heavens were opened and he saw the Glory of God the Father and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. And when they stoned him, he asked Jesus to receive his spirit and not take their sin into account. (Acts 7:54-60)
In the book of Revelation chapter 5, the apostle John saw the Lord God Almighty—the Father—sitting on the throne with a book in his right hand. Then he saw a Lamb that was slain—the Son—who was standing at the right hand of the Father, taking the book from the right hand of God who was sitting on the throne. Immediately afterwards he saw that both received adoration from the four living beings, from the 24 elders, from millions of angels and from all living beings.
The Scriptures say that there is only ONE God, the Father, and only ONE Mediator between God and men, the Man Jesus Christ, who gave himself a ransom for us all. (1Timothy 2:5-6)
JESUS will reign until He has delivered the Kingdom to his FATHER, when He has put down all rule and authority and power, including the Devil, Hell (Hades) and Death. And when all these things will be subordinated to Jesus, He will completely subordinate to His Father, so that He (the Father ) may be again the GOD OF ALL IN ALL, in the New Heaven and New Earth (1Corinthians 15:23-28; Revelation chapters 20-22). (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1-18, 3:31-36, 14:8-11, 17:1-5, 20:15-17,26-29; Romans 8:16-17; 2Corinthians 11:31; Ephesians 1:3,17, 3:9, 4:4-6; Colossians 1:12-20; 1John 1:1-3, 4:9-10, 5:4-13,20; Revelation 3:10-12,20-21)
The FATHER and the SON created man in their image and according to their likeness: MALE and FEMALE created them. Jesus is the image and glory of God, and was begotten in the beginning before the world existed, to love and reverence and faithfully accompany his loving Father. In the same way, the man is the image and glory of God, and the woman is the glory of the man, and she was begotten or created to love, reverence and faithfully accompany her husband and life partner (Genesis 1:26-27, 2:18-20; Hebrews 1:2-3; 2Corinthians 4:4; 1Corinthians 1:15-16, 8:6, 11:7-9; Ephesians 3:9, 5:22-24).
Therefore, GOD is the head of his Son, as JESUS is the head of every male, and the MALE is the head of his wife. Furthermore, since CHRIST is subject to God his loving Father, and as the CHURCH of believers is subject to Christ its loving Lord, the WIFE must also submit to her loving husband. We can see that there is genuine love and unity between both parties, but always keeping a certain order of authority and respect (1Corinthians 11:3, 3:23; Ephesians 5:22-24).
God loved his Son Jesus from the beginning by making him the HEIR OF ALL THINGS, so that both might be one in the Kingdom. He also made him Christ, that He might love the church of believers and give himself for it, that it might be part of his body. In the same way, the husband should love his wife as his own body, so that they might both share everything and be one flesh (John 16:15, 17:10,22; Hebrews 1:3; Ephesians 5:25-33) .
God predestined us the believers to be conformed to the image of his Son Jesus, so that He might be the FIRSTBORN among many BRETHREN (Romans 8:28-30). It also says somewhere else that the One who sanctifies (Jesus) and those who are sanctified (us) are all of One (God the Father); for which reason He (Jesus) is not ashamed to call them BRETHREN, saying: 'I will declare your name (Father) to my BRETHREN, in the midst of the congregation I will sing praise to you' (Hebrews 2:9-18). In other words, Jesus is our greatest BROTHER, who gave his life as a ransom for us to reconcile us with God his Father, and become adopted children of God our heavenly FATHER (John 1:12-13 3:16-17 14:6; Romans 5:6-11; 2Corinthians 14-21; Ephesians 1:3-12).
WHO or WHAT is the HOLY SPIRIT, and WHAT is its function?
Nowhere in the Scriptures will we find the Trinitarian title attributed to the HOLY SPIRIT of "Eternal God the Holy Spirit." The Holy Spirit is RUAH in Hebrew or PNEUMA in Greek, which basically means spirit, wind, breath and energy.
According to the Scriptures, God is Spirit (John 4:24), and God is Holy (Psalm 99:5,9; 1Peter 1:15). The HOLY SPIRIT is, in fact, the living nature or substance of the person of GOD the FATHER and of JESUS CHRIST, just as the spirit of man is the essence or living substance of the man himself (Proverbs 20:27; 1Corinthians 2:10-12). (1Chronicles 28:9; Psalm 7:9; Romans 8:9,26-27,33-34; Galatians 4:6; Revelation 2:18,23,29; Matthew 16:27)
The apostle Paul teaches us that just as 'the SPIRIT of MAN who is in him knows the things of man, so also the SPIRIT of GOD which searches the inside of God, knows the things of God'. He also adds that the SPIRIT of GOD is 'the SPIRIT which is of GOD', that is to say the Spirit that is literally an integral part of God. (1Corinthians 2:9-13)
God is the Spirit of pure and selfless Love, and Love is his primary spiritual nature (John 4:24, 17:23-26; Romans 5:5; 1Corinthians 13; 2Corinthians 3:16-18; Ephesians 3:16-19; 1John 4:8,16). In fact, his Spirit is made up of a total of seven Spirits, or seven Lamps of fire, or seven Horns and seven Eyes sent forth to all the Earth (Revelation 4:2-5, 5:6; Zacharias 3:8-9, 4:2,10; 2Chronicles 16:9; Proverbs 15:3; Ezekiel 1:26-28; Genesis 1:2; Acts 2:16-21). These seven Spirits are the Spirit of Love, of Wisdom, of Understanding, of Counsel, of Might, of Knowledge and of Fear of God (1John 4:8; Isaiah 11:1-2).
The Godhead represented by the Father and by the Son was clearly understood by the apostles, as they didn’t included or mentioned the Holy Spirit in their epistles’ greetings. Why the Holy Spirit didn’t appear in their greetings, if he supposedly is the “third person” of the Godhead? Did they forget to honour or worship him? No. They perfectly knew that the Holy Spirit is not another person, but the spiritual living substance and presence and power of God the Father and of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:1-7; 1Corinthians 1:1-3; 2Corinthians 1:1-2; Galatians 1:1-5; Ephesians 1:1-2; Philippians 1:1-2; Colossians 1:1-2; 1Thessalonians 1:1; 2Thessalonians 1:1-2; 1Timothy 1:1-2; 2Timothy 1:1-2; Titus 1:1-4; Philemon 1:1-3; 1Peter 1:1-2; 2Peter 1:1-2; 2John 1:3; Jude 1:1-2)
Corrupt teachings of mainstream Christianity today say that God’s Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30) is another "person". But why is never God's Spirit described in the Bible as having human form? Instead the Holy Spirit is described having several other forms, like: a Breath of life (Genesis 2:7); a Dove (Luke 3:21-22); a Wind (John 3:5-8); Rivers of Living Water (John 4:10-14, 7:37-39); a Blow (John 20:21-22); a Tongue of fire (Acts 1:1-4); an Oil of gladness (Hebrews 1:8-9); an Anointing (1John 2:20,27); a River (Revelation 22:1-2); seven Lamps of fire (Revelation 4:5); seven Eyes (2Chronicles 16:9; Zachariah 4:2,10; Revelation 5:6).
Something very relevant in the Scriptures is that the noun ‘PNEUMA’ (which means spirit, Spirit, wind, breath) that appears in the original text in Greek is in NEUTER gender. Besides, the pronouns that appear describing the Holy Spirit in the original texts in Greek are in NEUTER gender as well; and not in masculine as mistakenly it appears in Bible translations. For instance, in John 14:17,26 and 15:26, it’s translated the Greek word ‘HO’ as ‘WHOM’ (referring to a person), instead of ‘WHICH’ (referring more as part of a person). In John 14:17, it’s translated the Greek word ‘AUTO’ as ‘HIM’ (in masculine), instead of ‘IT’ (in neutral).
Also, in John 14:26, 15:26 and 16:8,13-14, the neuter demonstrative pronoun ‘EKEINOS’ in the original Greek is translated in English as the masculine pronoun ‘HE', instead of the neuter pronoun ‘THAT’. So obviously, the Holy Spirit is NOT another person, but PART of the person of God and of Jesus. In fact, the Spirit speaks and guides us, since God and Jesus communicate with us through “IT” (the Holy Spirit), which is their constant spiritual presence in us. (John 14:26, 15:26, 16:7-15; 1Corinthians 2:6-16; 2Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus spoke of Himself in many places in THIRD person, as well as God the Father did in the Old Testament (see Mark 9:30-31, 10:32-34; Matthew 26:63-64; John 9:35-38). That’s why many are mistaken to think that the COMFORTER is another person, when in reality is the PRESENCE and POWER of Jesus, and of the Father, IN and ON us. (John 14:15-26, 15:26-27; Acts 1:8; 2:16-21; 1Corinthians 1:24)
The Holy Spirit is the SPIRIT of TRUTH (see John 14:16-18; 15:26-27; 16:13-15; 1John 5:6); and we know that the TRUTH is JESUS, the Living Word (see John 1:1,14; 8:31-36; 14:6; 17:17-19; 2Corinthians 11:10; 2Thessalonians 2:13). The Holy Spirit is the spiritual substance and presence of Jesus Christ, which He received from his Heavenly Father without measure (Matthew 3:13-17; Luke 4:18-19; John 3:31-35; Acts 10:34-38). In fact, Jesus is both the Power (the Spirit) and the Wisdom (the Word) of God the Father (1Corinthians 1:24; Proverbs 8:12-36), and in Him dwells all the fullness of the spiritual substance and presence of his Father in bodily form (Colossians 2:8-9). Jesus is actually God’s Eternal High Priest who constantly intercedes for us to the Father, to help us in our walk of faith. (Romans 8:9,26-27,34; 2Corinthians 4:3-6; Galatians 4:4-6; Philippians 1:19-21; 1Timothy 2:5-6; Hebrews 4:14-16, 7:24-25; 1John 2:20-31). (See also John
4:20-24, 15:26-27; Acts 3:18-21; Romans 8:1-18; Revelation 2:7,11,17,18,23,29,
3:6,13,22, 22:17)
Jesus told his disciples (Matthew 10:16-20; Mark 13:9-11; Luke 12:11-12) that when they would be brought and handed over to kings and rulers because of Him, as a testimony to them, that they should not worry about what they should say or speak, because the Holy Spirit would speak for them. In Luke 21:12-15, Jesus said the same thing, but in that occasion He said that when his disciples would be brought before kings and rulers for his name's sake, they should not worry because HE Himself was going to give them a Word of Wisdom that no one will be able to contradict or resist. Here we clearly notice the correlation between the Holy Spirit and Jesus. In fact, the Holy Spirit is the living substance or presence of the very same person of Jesus Christ, as well as that of his Father, in the believers’ hearts, since He is in Heaven at the right hand of God his Father. (Psalm 110:1; Acts 7:55-56). (See John 14:15-26, 16:7-15)
Jesus made it very clear that whoever blasphemes against Him as a person would be forgiven if He repents. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, that is, against the very spiritual essence or presence of God his Father, which was in Jesus, he would not be forgiven in this life or in the life to come. (Luke 12:10; John 4:24; 2Corinthians 3:16-18; Ephesians 4:30)
When Philip the disciple asked Jesus to show him the Father, He answered that he who has seen Him has also seen the Father; because He was in the Father, and the Father was in Him, since He spoke and did the same works of his Father through the Holy Spirit—the spiritual essence or presence of God—in Him (John 14:8-11). Jesus went on to say that he who believes and receives his Spirit and keeps his Word, will do the same works that He did, and that He and his Father will love him and come to him, and they will make their home with him. (John 14:12-26)
In another passage when Jesus was praying to the Father, He said that He was praying for his disciples and for all those who had to believe in Him, so that all may be one in the Father and in Him, in the same way that his Father is one in Him, and He in his Father. He also prayed saying that his disciples may be made perfect in one, through the Spirit of his Father in Him, and the Spirit of Him in them (John 17:20-26). (In Ephesians 2:13-22 and 4:1-6, the Word says that through Jesus, we are all one body and have access to the Father by one Spirit.)
When Jesus was raised from the dead by the Spirit of his Father, and appeared to his disciples, he breathed a good measure of the Holy Spirit on them. But just before going to Heaven with his Father, He told them to stay in Jerusalem until they would received the power of the Holy Spirit over them, which was the promise of the Father, so that they could receive the boldness to preach the Word, and the power to perform miracles, in order to be witnesses of Him everywhere. And they received therefore the power of the Holy Spirit, as fire sent directly from Heaven, on the day of Pentecost. (Romans 8:11, John 20:21-23; Luke 24:46-49; Acts 1:8, 2:1-41)
Later, on another occasion, after the apostles Peter and John were released from prison, they got together with the other disciples to pray fervently and ask God for more boldness to preach the Gospel, and for more power to perform healing, miracles and wonders by the name of his Son Jesus; and the place where they were shake and were again all filled with the Holy Spirit. This proves that the Holy Spirit is the same substance and anointing of God that is poured out again and again, so that we can be filled more with his spiritual presence and power, as long as we are willing to preach, with all our heart and strength, the Good News of the freedom from sin through Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:1-31)
God the Father and His Son Jesus are sitting now on the throne of Heaven, but their Holy Spirit which emanates from all sides, has been poured out all over the Earth. (Hebrews 1; Joel 2:28-32; Acts 2:1-21; Revelation 5:6)
Stephen was a disciple full of faith and wisdom, and of the Holy Spirit and power; and just before he was stoned to death as a martyr, with his eyes looking up to Heaven, he saw the Glory or the radiant brightness of the Holy Spirit that was emanating from God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. (Acts 6:5-10, 7:54-60; Revelation 4:5)
Comparatively, when the apostle John describes the city of the New Jerusalem of God, he saw that this city had no need of sun or moon to shine in it; because the Glory or the radiant brightness of the very same Spirit of God did enlighten it, and Jesus Christ the Lamb was the Light. (Revelation 21:23)
The moment we believe in Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection, and we give our life to Him, God sends the Spirit of His Son into our hearts that cries: Abba, Father, to intercede for us as our mediator between God the Father and us the believers. In other words, we receive the spiritual essence or presence of Jesus and of his Father as well within us. (Galatians 4:4-7; Romans 8:9-10,15-17,26-27,34; 1Timothy 2:5-6; Hebrews 7:22-25; 1John 2:20,27-28)
God begets us and makes us a new creature or creation, filled with his Spirit, where old things have passed away and all things are made new. (John 1:12-13; 1John 5:1; Ephesians 2:10; 2Corinthians 5:17)
The Spirit of the Father is in his Son, and the Spirit of Jesus is in us who have believed (John 14:15-26, 16:7-15, 17:20-26). And as a result, we have free access and intimate communion with God our Father and with our Lord Jesus Christ, through their own SPIRIT (John 17:3; 1 John 1:3; 1Corinthians 1:9; 2Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 2:4-6). (Romans 8:1-10; Galatians 2:19-20, 4:4-7; Colossians 1:26-27)
Through our communion with the Father and the Son, we are then more filled of their Holy Spirit, and we become lights of the world to shine our light before all men, so that they may see our good works. In fact, God prepared these works beforehand so that we walk in them, so that He may be glorified. (John 14:8-14; Matthew 5:14-16; Ephesians 2:10; Philippians 2:12-13)
The Scriptures clearly say that God anointed Jesus just before his ministry with his Holy Spirit and with power, and so He is anointing us today through our faith in Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection. (Acts 10:36-38; 2Corinthians 1:21-22; Romans 3:21-26)
God has anointed us with the power of his Holy Spirit, so that we may continue the work that Jesus and the apostles did in their time, which is to faithfully sow the seed of God's Word in every heart, and reap the great harvest of receptive souls. (John 4:31-38; Luke 9:1-6, 10:1-11; Mark 16:15-18; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:37-41)
Through the power of the HOLY SPIRIT upon us, we will then receive the courage and ability to rebuke all temptation of the devil, as well as the boldness and compassion to accomplish our important mission on Earth to manifest JESUS CHRIST to the world, so that many souls may be reconciled to GOD the FATHER through His only begotten Son. (John 20:21-23; Luke 4:1-30; Acts 1:4-8; 2Corinthians 5:14-21)
In conclusion
God is our Creator and heavenly FATHER, and His SON Jesus is our Redeemer and heavenly BROTHER, who gave himself to redeem us from sin and reconcile us to His Father, the invisible God, supreme and sovereign. (Ephesians 1:3-8; Romans 3:19-26, 5:6-11; 1Timothy 1:17, 6:15-16)
Thanks to this great work of redemption and reconciliation, God the Father and his Son Jesus can now dwell in us through the Holy Spirit that lives in Them both. They continually emanate and pour It out upon all flesh, so that we may love them and have continual and intimate communion with Them both, and serve Them by sharing their love and salvation with others around. (John 1:9-18, 14:15-26, 17:3; 1John 1:1-3; 5:20; Acts 2:17; Genesis 1:1-2; Revelation 5:6; 2Corinthians 5:14-21)
Jesus and the apostle Paul taught us that we should continually praise and pray to the Father through Jesus Christ himself, who is the mediator who intercedes the Father for us through his own Spirit in us. (Galatians 4:6; Romans 8:26-27,34; 2Corinthians 3:16-18; 1Timothy 2:5-6; Hebrews 2:14-18). (See also Matthew 6:9-15; John 4:20-24, 16:23-28; Ephesians 5:20; Philippians 4:6-7; Colossians 3:17; 1Thessalonians 5:16-18) ◘
